Building Momentum Under Lockdown

When travel restrictions forced Lucinda Childs to postpone a project with the Ballet national de Marseille, the American choreographer met the Ballet’s artistic directors (LA)HORDE via Zoom.

Intimate and playful, this short film documents the unfolding of their digital collaboration and explores how the distances imposed by the pandemic open up unexpected possibilities for creative interaction.
