Théo Mercier

Théo Mercier will become an associate artist of the CCN Ballet national de Marseille in September 2025, as part of a program supported by the French Ministry of Culture.

Théo Mercier continues his exploration of performative landscapes and economies of borrowing with a new series of works combining exhibition and performance, to be premiered in 2027.

As part of his projects, Théo Mercier will lead a series of workshops throughout the season with the company’s permanent dancers and apprentices, and will also take part in the curation of the next Moteur de Recherche in spring 2026.

The project is situated at the heart of the extreme tension that exists between artistic institutions and waste centers.
