Tomer grew up in Rakefet, a small village in the north of Israel. In 2006, he started dancing Hora - an Israeli folkdance - in Misgav Dance troupe. In 2012, he graduated from the dance department of Misgav high school. He trained at the "Maslool dance program of Tel Aviv" led by Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Between 2016 and 2017, he had his internship in BATSHEVA Dance Company – the young Ensemble. There he created his first solo work and received a Gaga teacher certification.

From 2015 to 2019, he collaborated with Roy Assaf Dance Company and between 2017 and 2019 with Inbal Dance Theatre where he dances with Mor Shany and Idan Sharabi. He also worked as a freelance dancer with Itzik Galili, Noa Shadur and Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor.

Tomer joined Le Ballet national de Marseille under the direction of (LA)HORDE in 2019.
