Born in Porto, Rita started dancing at 6 at Ginasiano Escola de Dança, where she practiced for 15 years. In 2016, she is selected to be part of the Generation XII at P.A.R.T.S in Brussells. There, she participated in Let it all Out by Cristian Duarte and collaborated with Joshua Serafin for I.B 99085. After graduating in 2019, she took part in the creation of Somnia by the sisters Anne Teresa et Jolente de Keersmaeker.
She then was invited to dance for Rosas, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker's dance company, on the piece Bartok/Beethoven/Schonberg. In 2020, she works with Michele Anne de Mey on La Sonnambula - Bellini, produced by the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège.
In September 2020, she joins the Ballet national de Marseille as an apprentice dancer.
