Dvodydas started line dance classes in his hometown Daugai in Lithuania. When he was 14, he moved to Lithuanian capital Vilnius where he attended hip-hop classes. He later joined his first contemporary dance class of Miglė Praniauskaitė.
After, he studied contemporary dance with Sigita Juraškaitė and ballet with Giedrė Mickevičienė and Jurijus Smoriginas. In 2015, he did a bachelor of dance program at Codarts in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) where he studied with Mario Camacho, Antien van Mierlo and Katherine Stimson. During this period, he performed dance works by Jiri Kylian, Jan Martens, Joost Vrouenraets, and Cayetano Soto.
Before obtaining his degree in 2019, he did his internship with Jitti Chompee in 18 MONKEYS DANCE THEATER (Bangkok, Thailand), and Marina Mascarell in GöteborgsOperans Danskompani (Gothenburg, Sweden).
Dovydas joined the Ballet national de Marseille, under the direction of (LA)HORDE in 2019.
