His first encounter with dance was at the age of 12 when he started joining after-school line dance classes in his hometown Daugai in Lithuania. When he was 14, he moved to Lithuanian capital Vilnius where he attended hip-hop classes, but his real interest in dance came one year later when he joined his first contemporary dance class under the teacher Miglė Praniauskaitė. He was her student for two years and it was she who gave him foundations in understanding what dance was.

Later on, he was studying contemporary dance under Sigita Juraškaitė and ballet under Giedrė Mickevičienė and Jurijus Smoriginas. In 2015, he is enrolled in the bachelor of dance program at Codarts in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) where he studied under Mario Camacho, Antien van Mierlo and Katherine Stimson and had the chance to dance works by Jiri Kylian, Jan Martens, Joost Vrouenraets, and Cayetano Soto.

Before receiving his degree in 2019, he carried out his internship under Jitti Chompee in 18 MONKEYS DANCE THEATER (Bangkok, Thailand), and Marina Mascarell in GöteborgsOperans Danskompani (Gothenburg, Sweden).
