a solo, or perhaps a duet, between man and ball, or even a trio between man/ball/space.

In 2016 the choreographer Guilherme Miotto met the double world street football champion, Nasser El Jackson, admiring his technique and the quality of his movements. He decided to dedicate a piece to him. This encounter between dance and football led the player to go beyond his own playing technique. In .Ball the space is the link between Nasser and the ball, between Nasser and the audience, in other words an intermediary space in which intentions are projected, realised and challenged. Through its tangibility but also its theatricality, the material leads us to the immaterial, presence to absence, with Nasser and his dance guiding the audience to an imaginary world.
