Lung Ssu Yen

Lung-ssu Yen was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1996, he began his dance training at 15 years old at Taipei Hwa Kang Arts School, where they studied ballet, modern and Chinese dance. Then later continued his training at Codarts university of the arts, and had the internship at Scapino ballet Rotterdam.

Before joining the BNM, Lung ssu gained experience through scapino Ballet and nagelhus schia productions, Norway. Work with such choreographers Ed Wubbe, Lior Tavori, Sasha Waltz, Felix Landerer, Roy Assaf. And as freelancer I work as performer, choreographer, filmmaker, work with KODAK, Joseph Sturdy with Focus Dance, These experiences contributed to their artistic development and shaped their approach to dance and performance.

Lung-ssu Yen joined the BNM in 2025, where they have since worked with La(Horde), Peeping Tom, Lucinda Childs, Fran Díaz
