Aya Sato

Aya began dancing at the age of three at the Ishikawa Ballet School in Hokkaido, Japan. She later joined the Nuremberg/Fürth Ballet Academy in 2011. In 2013, she was a finalist at the Talent Dance Award in Regensburg, and in 2014 she won two medals and a special prize in both the classical dance and contemporary division at the International Dance Competition of Biarritz.

In January 2015, Aya joined the Ballet national de Marseille under the direction of Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten.
