Tânia Carvalho

At the invitation of the Théâtre de la Ville and La Villette, the Ballet national de Marseille presents a program composed of three works by Tânia Carvalho, (re)created with the dancers of the choreographic center: XYLOGRAPHIE, AS IF I COULD STAY THERE FOREVER, and ONE OF FOUR PERIODS IN TIME (ELLIPSIS).

Whether in solo or group form, in a constant search for ever-renewed movement, each piece embodies the singular language of the Portuguese dancer and choreographer, who thinks through movement, bodily intensities, rhythms, and gestural textures.
