What happens when the glamour of Broadway and the lightness of cabaret meet the melancholy of a series of mundane objects found in the street? How can the radiance of the most iconic queer figures be reconciled with the raw, politically charged poetry of the underground?

In IT’S GOT LEGS!!!!!!, multidisciplinary artists Samir Kennedy and Sean Murray activate their “shared fascination with dirt and glamour, the pathetic and the perverse” to dissect the mechanisms behind the construction and deconstruction of identity. On a stage composed of set elements that are anything but opulent, the two British artists present a chaotic cabaret.

Addressing both dominant classes and issues of precarity and otherness, the duo stages attempts that do not always succeed, engaging in a process that ultimately matters more than its outcome. Driven by the idea of duality, the performance creates encounters with singular worlds.
