Mounia Nassangar - STUCK (Studio Residency 2023)

An international icon of waacking, dancer and model Mounia Nassangar presents her first choreographic work. In Stuck, she seeks to find answers to her physical and mental blockages. Dance becomes a way to transform constraint this feeling of a body and mind sealed into freedom. Hence her choice of waacking, a dance of urgency and expression born out of oppression.

Stuck brings together five dancers, each approaching waacking in their own way: their bodies and stories differ, yet they are united by a shared, powerful experience.
