How do wars contribute to increasing racial divisions, reinforcing fascism, and marginalizing and weakening diverse identities and cultures within society, particularly in vulnerable contexts?
This new creation by Mithkal Alzghair stems from the need to revive a form that transforms into movement and action, in order to express the urgency of finding ways to establish peace without resorting to armed force and deadly violence. Peacefully revolves around the bodies and cultures of communities vulnerable to fragmentation, generated by loss, injustice, and authoritarianism as a result of imposed political circumstances and crises.
Here, Mithkal Alzghair proposes to highlight and question how the body, movement, gesture, and dance emerge within realities shaped by threat, danger, and constraint, where hope, desire, and resilience also reside.
