Dalila Belaza - Rive (Studio Residency 2023)

In Rive, Dalila Belaza draws from the pas de bourrée, tracing its transmission from one community to another, with rhythm as a guiding thread. She continues the research initiated in her previous work Au Cœur on forms of otherness.

It is about “inventing ceremonial forms where distant worlds come together” in order to “reveal what is shared, alive, and timeless — a gesture that embodies both memory and forgetting.”
