Luca Völkel

Luca est né en 2001 à Wuppertal, en Allemagne. Après avoir consacré son enfance et son adolescence à danser en compétition, il débute sa carrière professionnelle en tant qu’apprenti auprès de Marguerite Donlon avant de rejoindre TANZ Bielefeld. En 2024, il a collaboré avec (LA)HORDE et Ivo Van Hove sur le projet « I Want Absolute Beauty » présenté au festival Ruhrtriennale, puis a intégré, dans la foulée, le Ballet national de Marseille comme danseur permanent en septembre 2024

Luca was born in 2001 in Wuppertal, Germany. After spending his youth in competition dance he began his professional career as an apprentice with Marguerite Donlon before joining TANZ Bielefeld. In 2024 he collaborated with (LA)HORDE and Ivo Van Hove on the project "I Want Absolute Beauty" presented at the Ruhrtriennale festival, and joined the Ballet national De Marseille as a permanent dancer in September 2024.
