As the Ballet National de Marseille continues its schedule of tours, it is reserving a spring “Event” for the people of Marseille.

Its tour of the region includes shows at the Théâtre Durance de Château-Arnoux, the Festival 06 en Scène in Nice, the Théâtre le Comoedia in Aubagne, the Théâtre de l’Olivier in Istres...

International tours are taking the company to the Brighton Festival and to performances in Belgrade and Spain...

On 14, 15 and 16 June, the Ballet will be opening the renowned dance festival at the Venice Biennale.

There will be a spring “Event” at the Opéra in Marseille with “La danse dans tous ses états”, featuring pieces by Forsythe, Kelemenis, Duato and the Marseille premiere of “Métamorphoses”, Frédéric Flamand’s latest creation in collaboration with the Brazilian designers Humberto & Fernando Campana.
This event will also include the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse and its evenings of “Demonstrations”.

Frédéric Flamand’s collaboration with the Campanas also presents an opportunity to work with different key cultural figures and artists from Marseille – GRIM (Jean-Marc Montera), Montévidéo (Hubert Colas), Marseille museums, the Museum of Contemporary Art (mac), FRAC and the Luminy School of Architecture – on the theme of recycling, with a series of concerts, shows, exhibitions, lectures and meetings in Marseille next May.
