The Japanese dancer and choreographer Yasuyuki Endo trained at Tokyo’s Shigyo Ballet School before launching his career with the Star Dancers Ballet in Tokyo and the Australian Ballet, performing in pieces choreographed by the likes of Peter Wright, Kenneth McMillan, George Balanchine and William Forsythe. Frédéric Flamand then appointed him to Charleroi/Danses - Plan K in Belgium in 1999, since when Yasuyuki has played a part in all the choreographer’s creations, following him to the Ballet National de Marseille as a soloist in 2005. In parallel, he has built up his own choreographic work, gives numerous classes in classical and contemporary dance in Europe and Japan and has also worked with the famous Japanese choreographer Saburo Teshigawara on «I was real – Documents and Turandot.»
