Frenchman David Cahier was born in 1990. After being awarded a diploma in choreographic studies from the CRD in Brest in 2007 and passing an exam in classical technique in 2008, he continued his training at G.U.I.D. / Ballet Preljocaj. David returned to Cannes Jeune Ballet / ESDC Rosella Hightower in 2008, dancing works choreographed by the likes of Francesco Nappa, Jean-Charles Gil, Bruno Roque, Marc Ribaud, Myriam Naisy and Emilie Lalande.
To put the finishing touches to his training, he has also taken courses and studied with Claudia De Smet (Ballet Preljocaj), Marion Ballester and the dance companies of François Platel and Vera Mantero. He joined the Ballet National de Marseille in 2010 and is taking part in the creation of Frédéric Flamand’s “The Truth 25 Times a Second” and dancing in “Les Vertiges de l’Immobilité” by Eric Oberdorff.
