Born in 1973 in Arcachon, Thibault Amanieu begins the ballet at the age of 10 in the CNR of Bordeaux. From 1986 till 1991, he pursues his training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris from which he obtains the silver medal. In 1992, he is hired by Roland Petit at the Ballet National de Marseille. He dances in particular "les Forains", "Carmen", "la Belle au bois dormant", "Notre dame de Paris", "l’Arlésienne" or "Coppélia" and the pas-de-deux du Cygnes with Lucia Lacarra in "Ma Pavlova". In 1998, under the management of M.-P. Pietragalla, he is one of the four friends of the Capulet in " Roméo and Juliette " of Rudy van Dantzig. Since 2005 under the management of Frédéric Flamand, Thibault interpreted soloist’s numerous roles in plays of F. Flamand (la Cité radieuse, Silent Collisions) W. Forsythe (Herman Schmerman pas-de-deux), Nacho Duato (Por vos Muero), Michel Kelemenis (Tattoo), Lucinda Childs (Tempo Vicino), Thierry Malandain( Sextet, Nuits d’été) and Eric Oberdorf (Les vertiges de l’immobilité).
